Was an angel a gentle, caring soul full of life and joy. A very big Labrador with the heart of gold. A free spirit who had love for everyone

Vesuvio was the most gentle and caring Labrador.

He chose me, came to me at 3 months old, I held him and was love at first sight. We never left each other sights ever since.

We would go and do everything together and be in each other’s company 24/7.

Vesuvio was my soulmate, my companion, my everything.

He helped me to go through my darkest times and we always had so much fun together.

We drove and travelled everywhere in Europe and UK, my holidays had to be with him.

He was a cheeky dog with a caring soul for those who suffered, he had the ability to cheer them up.

He particularly loved children and would play forever with them, if he could. But at the same time, he was amazing with the elderly and understood that had to be quieter and less jumpy with them. He, like all the labs, was obsessed with water..would dive, jump, swim for hours.

I’m blessed because he entered into my life and made me a better person, more caring of people and animals’ needs.

Vesuvio has left me one and half year ago and the wound is still open, comforts me that one day I’ll see him again and we’ll go for our walks.
