My beautiful girl, who I lost this week. You didn’t have a good start before you came to me, but everyone says you landed on your paws when you did. What was not to love about you? You loved meeting people that came to the house, you inspected all the building work (when you were allowed) when the kitchen was being rebuilt. You loved to drink from puddles, even if I did have to create them with tap water on dry days! You loved to curl up beside me, and took up most of the bed when you chose to sleep beside me! You dribbled when you were happy, often all over me! You missed me when I went away, but never aloof when I came back, and now it’s my turn to miss you. And I do so much my beautiful girl x
