Our parson jack Russell who had wonderful adventures, grew up with our children, hated cats and big black dogs .. 15 years of love.

Our Ronnie

parson Jack Russell terrier

From a tiny 8 week pup, when Lily cried when we said we were getting a dog, hiding in my coat pocket before his jabs watching Lily sing Christmas songs at the shopping centre with her school.

Not too keen on the youngest member of our family , Oscar. Biting his wellies when we played at spratling throwing apples.

Every year on our annual camping trip, squashed in the bag of the car in his bed, surrounded by various equipment, bags, guitars. He still put up with it.

Years of fun, swimming in Horner river, chasing sticks and shaking us wet.

Sitting on the windowsill at the Top Ship and on the farmhouse windowsill when he thought we didn’t know.

Laying on Kaths pillow and using her carpet as a back scratcher.

The numerous walks carrying backpacks with the kids.

Malc letting you sit on his lap although you hated a cuddle.

Many years later, winning best veteran dog at the Porlock horse show.. then winning overall champion and having a poo when it was your time to pick up your rosettes.

This last year has seen you slightly deaf and a bit slow on the uptake, next doors cat has got the better of you.. and your eyesight not so good.

But you will always be our beautiful canine son and brother and we will be forever thankful that you chose us to give your dedication and love to.

There may be others in the future Ronnie, but you have left a whole in our lives as big as the dog you thought you were my friend .

Rest peacefully now until we reunite 🐶

Ronnie .. Forever Loved 8/10/06 - 07/05/21
